| in april of 1996, bam magazine wrote of michael kadenacy's haunting, rich vocals and fierce song writing, this after reviewing an all-acoustic demo of his songs.
now, with the release of jester an eleven-song cd encompassing the full range of kadenacy's emotionally charged song writing and guitar playing the young artist dispels any notion that he is strictly an acoustic performer.
enlisting the talents of such rock industry veterans as bernie larsen and phil chen, kadenacy has created a moody, reflective first album that pulls the listener from one end of the emotional spectrum to the other.
kadenacy was born in pennsylvania and grew up in southern california. he studied acting at the american academy of dramatic art. throughout his time at the academy, kadenacy pursued his music, incorporating many of the lessons in dramatics into his song writing and vocal performance. the results are insightful and revealing.
jester was produced by bernie larsen at spinout's recording studios in burbank, california. craig leener was the executive producer. |
